Transform into engineers and architects as you design, build, and test your own bridges. This hands-on competition challenges you to apply real engineering principles while collaborating with teammates to create the strongest structure possible.
Green Team/Gardening
A crew class that will involve the use of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. We will integrate sustainability and STEAM. We will work to create a Green team in the building.
Ceramics
Discover the art of ceramics in a hands-on class where you'll shape raw clay into functional and creative works while building patience, creativity, and technical skills.
Origami
Through origami, you'll discover how slowing down builds patience, how repetitive motion soothes the mind, and how your hands can create beauty without pressure or timelines. Here, the process matters infinitely more than the product.
Dancing Around the World
Students explore diverse dance styles from different cultures and regions, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue. Through learning choreography, researching cultural origins, and practicing solo and group performances, students develop dance skills while gaining an appreciation for the traditions and histories behind each dance form.
Anime
Anime and Dystopian Futures
Students explore thought-provoking Japanese anime that presents abstract dystopian worlds and unconventional storytelling. Through discussion, writing, and analysis, students interpret complex narratives, examine social themes, and develop critical thinking skills while exploring how anime uses visual and storytelling techniques to address societal issues.
Passport to Play
We will embark on a journey of strategy, problem-solving and fun. Through a variety of engaging games, students will develop critical thinking skills, enhance their teamwork abilities, and explore new ways to build community.
Fitness Crew
Students learn safe fitness practices, proper training techniques, and gym etiquette while building lifelong habits for health and wellness.
Media Crew
Students explore the creative process of digital content creation, from idea development to finished projects such as films, podcasts, documentaries, and digital stories. Through collaboration and hands-on production, they build storytelling, communication, and media creation skills relevant to today's digital world.
