STEAM focuses on incorporating the 4 C’s into our daily activities. Hands on approach to learning incorporating interdisciplinary project based learning.

COLLABORATION

Teaching students to work together in a positive wat to complete a task or reach commons.

Thinking at a higher level so that students may solve intricate problems.

CREATIVITY

Thinking outside the box to solve problems in a unique way.

COMMUNICATION

Speaking to one another as well as actively listening.

These 4 C’s play a critical role in the overall development of a well rounded student.  These skills will support students through the entirety of their academic careers and beyond.

Green Team 

The Green Team is a school club geared toward promoting environmental awareness. Students in this club are interested in “going green”. We concentrate on getting educated, spreading the word and then taking action.

Steam Team 

The STEAM Team is a school team that works towards the District 20 Annual STEAM Fair Design.  Students will follow the engineering and design process to meet the goals of the presented theme.  This group is extremely interactive and allows students to solve real world problems.
