School Leadership Team

The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of representatives who develop educational policies for their school.


They also make sure there are resources to support those policies.


SLTs: Provide ongoing evaluations of a school's educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
Meetings are open to the public.

New York City's Community and Citywide Education Councils are charged with promoting student achievement, advising and commenting on educational policies, and providing input to the chancellor and the Panel for Educational Policy.
