Dear M.S. 407 Families,

 

We would like to share our Pivot to Remote for M.S. 407 to ensure students can continue learning from home. Students will be instructed to log into TeachHub to access Google Classroom for assignments and Zoom to engage with their teachers during their regularly scheduled program.  

To make sure your child is ready, please note the following:

✔️ What Your Child Will Need

• A fully charged device (DOE iPad, laptop, or personal device)

• Reliable internet access

• Their DOE username and password to log into TeachHub
  (If your child needs password help, please contact the main office.)

✔️ How Students Will Access Instruction

1. Log into TeachHub:
   https://teachhub.schools.nyc

2. Open Google Classroom:
   Students will find assignments for each class posted by their teachers.

3. Use Zoom for Live Sessions:
   Zoom links will be posted in Google Classroom for each scheduled class period. You can also access your teachers’ zoom link here.  Please follow you schedule and flow into your teachers'’ zoom meeting at you scheduled class time. Teacher Zoom Links

✔️ Student Program & Attendance

• Daily Attendance will be taken here by 8:10 AM:

  • 6th Students – Class of 2028 – CLASSWORK / PIVOT TO REMOTE

  • 7th Students – Class of 2027 – CLASSWORK / PIVOT TO REMOTE

• Students are expected to follow their regular class schedule. You can see the class schedules here. The link is embedded in the boxes for each subject class.  Please click on the link at the scheduled time.  For PBL, click on your teacher’s name.

• Attendance will be taken each period based on Zoom participation and assignment completion.

• Teachers will be available during class for live instruction, support, and questions during class time.

• Students should follow their programs according to our Bell Schedule, posted on our school website. To access the bell schedule, please click on Students and scroll down to Bell Schedule.

• Each class schedule includes links for each subject. 

• REMINDER:  STUDENTS MUST LOG IN THROUGH TEACHHUB TO ACCESS ALL SCHOOL PROGRAMS.
